Your address book's assistant

What the assistant can do, how it asks before writing, how to dictate to it out loud, and how its usage is billed to you.

WHAT IT CAN DO

It reads your address book — find a record, re-read a history, segment, count. It writes into it — create, edit, note, merge. It books an appointment or a task. It follows your sales in progress. It searches your collection and places a hold on a work. It queries official registries to find you the right people to talk to. And it gives you the morning briefing: what happened on your calls, your emails and your visits over the last seven days.

IT ASKS BEFORE IT WRITES

Every time it wants to change your address book, it stops and shows you a card: one plain sentence naming the person concerned, never an identifier, and two buttons — « Yes, do it » or « No, cancel ».

That is the default setting. You can disarm it in the voice settings, knowingly.

Three guards hold on top of the card: it can only target a record it has shown you or that your conversation mentioned; a deletion requires the word to be in YOUR message; and an erasure under the GDPR writes its audit line.

THE VOICE

You can dictate into the microphone and have it read its answers aloud. In live dictation, your audio goes straight to the model provider: it does not pass through our servers.

Three limits per request: one minute of audio, four megabytes, six hundred characters per reading. And two budgets per day and per house: ten minutes listened to, twenty thousand characters read out.

When a budget is reached, the screen tells you and invites you to carry on in writing. When a recording is too long, it asks you to say it in under a minute.

WHAT IT COSTS

The assistant is billed on usage, per million tokens, on four lines: input and output, fast model and expert model. The voice adds two units: the second listened to and the character read out.

Your account receives €2.50 excl. VAT of credit when it opens. While it lasts, nothing is billed — and an answer is covered entirely or not at all.

Your usage is shown live in the Billing tab, with the voice counted separately. Two figures appear there: what your usage is worth at the tariff, and what is actually owed.

YOUR CONVERSATIONS

They are kept server-side, encrypted, and you alone can reach them. Two hundred messages per conversation, fifty conversations kept. You can delete one at any time.

A conversation with no activity for a year is purged automatically.

Frequently asked questions

WHY DOES IT REFUSE TO WRITE WHEN I ASKED IT TO?

Two possible reasons. It can only change a record it has shown you or that your conversation mentions — ask it to find that record first. And a deletion requires you to write the word yourself: it will never infer it.

I HAVE USED UP MY CREDIT. WHAT HAPPENS?

If a card is on file, usage continues and is billed to you. Otherwise the assistant stops and says so plainly. The Billing tab warns you below €0.50 remaining.

« TOO MANY MESSAGES, PLEASE WAIT » — WHY?

Twenty questions a minute at most. The screen deliberately shows no « Retry » button: retrying would spend the quota instead of waiting for it.

ARE MY CONVERSATIONS USED TO TRAIN A MODEL?

No. They are encrypted, tied to your house alone, and purged after a year without activity.
